Grass blooms are so beautiful
Everywhere we look in the fall we can see "wild" grasses in glorious bloom. The plume waves and bends to the breezes of each hour in the day often soaked in the dew of early morning. These flowers are lush in their groups and from a distance even seem to carpet the landscape but in their singled out state, they are soft and gentle statements.

Im not going to lie to you!
Rainy, wet, cool saturday ahead of me and all I can think of this morning is pruning a bush, transplanting and splitting some needy hostas and then a great fire! One of those fires that you build and then go into the front yard to trim a shrub and smell the wood burning and it draws you like a magnet back to it's warm glowing embers. I want a great hot dog...one with Hormel chilli...just a little dill relish! I MISS THOSE SATURDAYS SO GOD...GIVE ME MORE SATURDAYS LIKE THOSE! You remember too God! The ones where the kids stopped by home and STAYED to roast a wiener too! AMEN!
